Alex Lohore Eyes Move to Middleweight, Clash with Fabian Edwards
A man who won ten fights on the bounce, claiming the welterweight title; prior to being dethroned. One of the country’s biggest starlets, making his way through the division. Both, could potentially collide in the BAMMA cage, in the forms of Alex Lohore and Fabian Edwards.
With names few and far between in the middleweight division nowadays, BAMMA would have had a hard time finding a fight for “The Assassin”. With Mike Shipman; the champion, rescheduling with Yohan Romming, it made the situation even trickier. However, it now appears it may be smooth sailing for the European promotion.
Edwards; the man who is so often avoided, has a new challenger. However, this time, it is not a middleweight. Former welterweight champion Alex Lohore, who recently headlined BAMMA 34, will make the move to middleweight, according to reports.

After another first round victory for Edwards, an experienced fighter who will test him is in order. Lohore is certainly that. Whether it will be biting off more than he chew remains to be seen, but BAMMA have a potential superfight on their hands.
Both fighters are known for their devastating striking power and effervescent personalities, leading to a major prospect both before and during the fight.
Whether the intentions from Lohore are to beat Edwards and go on to claim another BAMMA title, remains to be seen. However, one thing is for sure; a sizeable task lays ahead of “Da Kid”, and a truly colossal clash rests in the palms of the BAMMA matchmakers.
