Bobby Moffett vs. Jacob Kilburn slated for DWTNCS August 7th

August 7th is the last week of Dana White’s Tuesday Night Contender Series- DWTNCS before switching to the Brazil portion. Sources confirmed to MMA Today that Bobby Moffett will take on Jacob Kilburn in a featherweight bout. This fight will take place in the TUF gym in Las Vagas, Nevada.

This past weekend, Dana White flew out to Memphis, Tennessee to film his series “Lookin’ For a Fight”. He would go to the V3Fights 69 event where Moffett impressed with a first-round submission. He did come out the winner but he didn’t receive a UFC contract now, he will be given the opportunity on the Contender Series.

“The Wolfman” trains out of the MMA Lab and the 28-year-old holds a record of 12-3 and on a two-fight winning streak. Moffett has fought for LFA, RFA, and Victory FC as well as holding a regional title for the WXC promotion in 2015.

When Moffett steps into the octagon in front of the matchmakers Sean Shelby and Mick Maynard and UFC president standing across from him will be Jacob Kilburn during the last Tuesday of the American DWTNCS.

Fighting out of Woodlawn, Tennessee Jacob Kilburn holds a professional record of 6-1 and is on a three-fight winning streak. The 22-year-old Kilburn won a few regional titles in his amateur career and as a professional, he has put together four finishes of six victories.

“The Killer” trains out of Harris Holt Combat Sports and one of his mentors would be the 97-fight veteran regional fighter “Big” Jonathan Ivey.
