British UFC/WEC Legend Brad Pickett Signs with ACB; Debut Set for London

Another MMA retirement is turning out to not be a retirement after all.

British veteran Brad Pickett has announced a comeback, signing a multi-fight deal with ACB.

This news comes just weeks after ACB announce their return to England, which sees them host at the Copper Box Arena in London, England.

The news comes as a shock to many with the UFC veteran leaving his hat in the octagon in his seemingly final fight vs Marlon Vera at UFC Fight Night 107.

With 14 fights to his name with the kingpin promotion, “One Punch” has faced just about the entirety of top level athletes of his era and weight class.

In life outside the octagon, Pickett has been cornering and training up and coming fighters such as Nathaniel WoodNathan GreysonDominique Wooding and more.

The spell on the sidelines only lasted a mere fifteen months, as the 39-year-old comes back for more. In what will be his fortieth professional bout, Pickett will fight in front of his own fans at ACB 91.

An opponent is yet to be announced for Pickett but with a middleweight title fight and Daniel Omielańczuk making his second appearance for the promotion in heavyweight action, the card is already shaping up to be a solid show.

With Pickett in action, it could shape up to be a historic event for UK MMA.
