Canadian Olympian Arjan Bhullar to Debut Versus Luis KLB Henrique at UFC 216 in Edmonton
Recently signed Canadian Olympian Arjan Bhullar (6-0) has an opponent for his first UFC contest. The 31 year old Bhullar will become the first UFC fighter of Indian decent when he squares off with Brazil’s Luis “KLB” Henrique (10-3) at UFC 216 in Edmonton on September 9th. Bhullar related news of the fight on his Instagram account, which was first reported by theprovince.com.
Bhullar, who trains with Daniel Cormier and Cain Velasquez at American Kickboxing Academy, earned his UFC promotion by defending his Battlefield Fight League heavyweight title against Joe Yager in April. Shortly before that fight, Bhullar sat down with MMA Today’s Tera Rosebrough to talk about his fighting career so far and his UFC aspirations.
