Donald Cerrone vs Mike Perry is “Good to Go” for Cowboy Homecoming in Denver
A welterweight war is coming to Denver, Colorado on November 10th as action fighters Donald Cerrone and Mike Perry are set to square off.
UFC President Dana White said the fight is “good to go” per Brett Okamoto of ESPN.
Fan favorite “Cowboy” Cerrone is looking to snap out of a rough skid as he’s lost four of his last five fights the most recent being a unanimous decision loss to rising star Leon Edwards at UFC Singapore.
Meanwhile “Platinum” Perry is coming off a fight of the night type war with Paul Felder. Felder who normally fights at Lightweight stepped up on just a few days notice and gave the Welterweight a hell of a fight at UFC 226, unfortunately, no bonus was handed out.
Cerrone is hoping to have better success in his hometown than the last time he visited as he was knocked out by Jorge Masvidal in the second round at the co-main event of UFC on Fox: Shevchenko vs. Peña
