EXCLUSIVE: Arnold Allen Out of UFC 220 Bout Against Enrique Barzola

Next weekend’s UFC 220 has stayed relatively in tact– until now that is.

MMA Today has learned that the featured UFC Fight Pass prelim, Arnold Allen vs. Enrique Barzola is now off of the card.  Las minute visa paperwork issues have apparently forced England’s Allen off the card.  The promotion is now shooting for a replacement opponent for Peru’s Barzola.

Allen has not fought since March of 2017 when he defeated surging Finnish prospect Makwan Amirkhani at UFC Fight Night: London.  At just 23 years of age, “Almighty” is one of the UFC’s brightest up-and-coming stars in the featherweight division.

On the other hand, Enrique Barzola has flown under the radar thus far in his UFC career, going 3-1 under the promotional banner.

Stay tuned to MMA Today for all of the latest news, updates and announcements concerning UFC 220 in Boston!
