The controversial NFL star defensive end turned MMA knockout artist is back. Greg Hardy set to make his second appearance on Dana White’s Tuesday Night Contender Series (DWTNCS) on August 7th per Ariel Helwani of ESPN.
Hardy won his pro-MMA debut in just 57 seconds dispatching fellow former NFL player Austen Lane in exciting fashion that had Dana White offering him a UFC developmental deal.

Details are now out that it was a four-fight contract with Zuffa, the parent company of the UFC, according to Helwani this upcoming bout won’t be considered official UFC fight.
Similiar to his first stint on Contender Series Greg Hardy again faces another fighter with a football background. This time around its 3-0 Tebaris Gordon who was a scouted HS fullback and is now an assistant football coach at North Gaston HS in North Carolina.
Hardy was in the news not long after his win in front of Dana White after injuring his leg in an American Arena League playoff game last month but it turned out to be a minor injury that won’t affect him going forward.
