TUF 26 Finale’s Sean O’Malley Confident He’ll KO Terrion Ware

Dana White’s Tuesday Night Contender Series livened every MMA fans midweek with a collection of fights where fighters would battle it out in hope of earning a UFC contract. With what was at stake fights were almost guaranteed to be good as each fighter was looking to impress. After some success in the opening show, week two had the MMA world talking as undefeated Sean O’Malley took home an impressive first-round knockout victory over Alfred Khashakyan earning him a prestigious UFC contract.

O’Malley (8-0 MMA, 0-0 UFC) is set to make his UFC debut at the TUF 26 Finale on December 1, 2018 and by the looks of thing, he isn’t changing much up in preparation for the fight, keeping it short and simple.

“I’m just doing the same thing I’ve been doing the last 3 years, training as much as I can and resting when I need to.”

His dance partner for the night will be Terrion Ware (17-5 MMA, 0-1 UFC) ,a well-established striker with an iron chin. But O’Malley doesn’t seem too concerned with his opponent as he is confident he’ll be the first man to finish Ware by knockout.

“Terrion is an okay boxer,” he started. “I’m going to pick him apart. He’s very tough and hard to finish and I don’t think he’s been finished by strikes. I’m pumped to be the first to KO him. I don’t think he will be able to take my shots and he will drop like the rest of them.”

Since competing on Contender series which got him the fight with Ware for his debut, O’Malley has kept busy from training as usual to buying a house. He’s also been keeping active with his growing fanbase.

“Since the contender series, I bought a house and just been training as usual. Got a lot of fans and been able to do some giveaways and stuff through my Instagram, I love my fans. It’s really cool to be able to interact with them.”

During O’Malley’s impressive performance on the Contender Series, Snoopcast commentator, Snoop Dogg, took quite a liking to the prospect. His reaction to the knockout swarmed social media as Snoop repeatedly screamed out O’Malley’s name after being taken back by the knockout.

The reaction that went down was a treat with O’Malley. O’Malley went on to detail what happened when he got the chance to meet the iconic rapper after the fight.

“Snoop’s reaction was unreal. I knew I’d make him feel that way. I said in an interview, ‘I’m going to make Snoop want to meet me,’ and he said ‘I wanna meet that kid,’ so it was pretty sweet.”
I got to smoke a few joints with Snoop after the fight, it felt like I was in a movie .”

For those who are fans of O’Malley or even keep up to date with his social media know that he is fond of marijuana. When asked about it, he had nothing but positivity about the plant mentioning how it can benefit him more than anything and can even adjust to using it during camp.
“Marijuana is a huge part of my life, it has mostly positive effects on my training. I use a vaporizer when I’m in camp or edibles for my lungs”

After explaining how he got his rather fitting nickname from his old coach. Now that he is finally in the UFC, “Sugar” has a clear vision of what he wants to achieve moving forward in the UFC.

“I got the nickname “Sugar” from my old coach Johnny Aho, he said I was so sweet to watch. SUGAR.”

“The goal now that I’m in the UFC is to knock out as many people I can and keep building my brand and business ‘Sugar Show.'”
