EXCLUSIVE: Molly McCann vs. Gillian Robertson in the works for UFC Liverpool

As if Darren Till wasn’t enough, the UFC‘s return to Liverpool is looking to add even more local talent.  According to multiple sources close to the situation, the UFC is targeting a bout between Cage Warriors Flyweight Champion, Molly McCann (7-1, 0-0 UFC) and Canadian Gillian Robertson (4-2, 1-0 UFC).

McCann has only dropped one fight in her professional career and has not lost since 2015.  En route to securing Cage Warriors gold, McCann knocked out Bryony Tyrell in the second round this past February.  The fight at UFC Liverpool would be McCann’s UFC debut.

Expected to be standing across the cage from “Meatball” in Liverpool will be the Ultimate Fighter Season 26 veteran, Robertson.  The 22-year old Canadian made her UFC debut back in December, submitting Emily Whitmire in just over two minutes time.  Now, Robertson will be riding a two fight win streak entering UFC Fight Night: Liverpool.
