UFC 218 Adds An Exciting Lightweight Bout In David Teymur vs. Drakkar Klose
Earlier today from the Detroit Free Press it was announced that David Teymur will take on Drakkar Klose. The fight will take place in the Little Caesars Arena in Detroit, Michigan on December 2nd at UFC 218.
David Teymur (6-1) was a competitor on The Ultimate Fighter season 22 but came up short when he lost to Marcin Wrzosek. Since the show, Teymur has proved his worth going 3-0 inside the Octagon with two finishes. In Teymur’s last bout it may have not ended in a stoppage, but the win came over a rising prospect in Lando Vannata, where Vannata was the favorite.
Drakkar Klose (8-0-1) made his debut back in January of this year and beat Devin Powell, Klose looked good but he wouldn’t really start making people notice until after his last fight. Back in July, Klose fought then surging prospect, Marc Diakiese, who was, at the time, a very intriguing fighter who had a lot buzz behind him. Diakiese was the favorite but Klose fought very well and ended up winning the Split-Decision.
