UFC Beijing DraftKings Plays: Daily Fantasy Knockout

The Ultimate Fighting Championship makes its inaugural trip to China’s capital with a pivotal showdown between two heavyweight contenders early Saturday morning (November 24, 2018). UFC Fight Night 141 (UFC Beijing) will feature the rematch between Curtis Blaydes and Francis Ngannou, and though Ngannou won the first matchup, Blaydes undeniably has more momentum going into this second clash.

Ngannou won the first bout via TKO after grotesquely closing Blaydes’ eye with punches. He went on to sensational knockouts of longtime contenders Andrei Arlovski and Alistair Overeem before failing in his attempt to wrest the heavyweight crown from Stipe Miocic. Ngannou followed that with one of the most perplexing and, frankly, unwatchable fights in years, having a 15-minute staring contest with Derrick Lewis. To say that Ngannou desperately needs a win would be a colossal understatement.

Blaydes, meanwhile, has rattled off six consecutive wins (one no-contest for a positive marijuana test notwithstanding) over increasingly impressive opposition, developing his kickboxing to back up one of the best wrestling games in the heavyweight division. He is coming off his own vicious knockout of Overeem, this with ground and pound elbows. A win over Ngannou could propel him to a title shot depending on how things shake out with current titleholder Daniel Cormier. The card also features some under-the-radar bouts too.
