UFC Glendale Results: Brad Tavares Crushes Krzysztof Jotko Late in Third Round
Hawaiian middleweight Brad Tavares made it four wins a row when he crushed Polish contender Krzysztof Jotko in the third and final round in the first of the televised prelims at UFC Glendale.
Tavares was riding an impressive win streak with notable wins over Elias Theodorou and Thales Leites. Jotko however, by far the most notable and impressive scalp to date as the Hawaiian carries on his ascendancy on the 185lb division.
The fight took a familiar theme from start to finish, Tavares showcasing slick striking whilst Jotko struggled to find any sort of range for all three rounds. Despite the numerous efforts from Jotko’s team to convince him to take the fight to Tavares, Jotko just wasn’t able to land as he pleased, struggling up until the third round.

The right-hand haymaker that Tavares had been looking for was executed to perfection when he knocked Jotko out, two minutes into the third round, finishing the floored Jotko with punches on the ground.
After the fight, Tavares called out former champion Michael Bisping amongst retirement talks from the Englishman.
The fight sees Tavares improve his record to (16-4) whilst Jotko falls to (19-4) and will likely lose his place as a top 15 contender with three consecutive losses.
