Former UFC Light Heavyweight Nikita Krylov To Fight Maro Perak In Ukraine Later This Month

Former UFC fighter and recent Fight Nights Global competitor, Nikita Krylov, is set to take on Croatian, Maro Perak, on August 26 at United Donbass.

Following initial reports from Alexey Safonov, the touted fight between Nikita Krylov and Maro Perak was officially confirmed by Donetsk News Agency a few days later.

Krylov would speak to DAN about his opponent:

“Maro Perak is an experienced and well-known fighter. Although judo is his basic style, he wins a majority of fights by knockouts, which means his punching and wrestling are good.”

The twenty-five year old Ukrainian, Krylov, currently boasts an impressive 22-5 record, including a recent 6-1 record. ‘The Miner’ holds notable wins over Walt Harris, Francimar Barroso and Marcos Rogerio de Lima.

Croatian national, Maro Perak, currently sports a healthy 25-7-1 record, including fights with many of Europe’s top fighters including Viktor Nemkov, Denis Smoldarev and Marcin Tybura. Perak has been in inconsistent form as of late, going 2-4 in his last six.

United Donbass will be held in Donetsk on August 26. 2017.
