How will Ottman Azaitar fare in the UFC:

Azaitar has a style that excites fans and with the right opponent he could strike a few fight of the night bonuses but mainly he will struggle outside the bottom tier of the division. You can’t discredit his aggression nor his toughness but when you lack technique and takedown defense you won’t ever reach a high-level nor really mid-level in the UFC. Azaitar always brings it every fight and is always fun as he marches forward the whole time throwing big looping hooks looking for the kill shot. His nickname is “Bulldozer” and that’s his game plan every time he puts his gloves on is to break his opponents with his constant pressure and the power in his hands. The thang is, Azaitar comes in to aggressive and is easily allows his opponents to change levels and get the takedown. Like I said he does lack technique on the feet but he does have decent wrestling and even better ground and pound. Overall a fun addition to the roster but not someone who will ever make a run for the title.
