Welcome to the UFC: Craig White
UFC is coming to Liverpool, England for the first time. The event is set to go down at the Echo Arena and the card was filled until an injury hit. Unfortunately, the blow came to the co-main event as Gunnar Nelson had to pull out of his bout with Neil Magny due to a Meniscus injury. With Magny needing an opponent and a big opportunity ahead, the UFC would sign Cage Warriors veteran Craig White.

How will Craig White fare in the UFC:
White isn’t the best fighter for sure out of the UK and probably not inside the 20 but is still dangerous as you look at his last five wins the opponents held a combined record of 47-14. White doesn’t really like to stand and trade but when he does he has a rapid attack of kicks and knees. The downside of his striking is he is too aggressive and leaves himself open and the results have been him getting knocked out in the past. The best place for White to be is on the mat off his back in his opponent’s guard and how he likes to get there? Well, awful takedown defense. I don’t think has ever defended a takedown and maybe that’s because he’s confident off his back despite losing four of his seven fights by submission. White has a knack for the triangle I will say if he gets in locked in he’s going to finish you because he knows how to use it. White is not a future top 15 fighter nor do I think he will win this fight.
How does Craig White match-up against Neil Magny:
Magny is ranked number 9 in the division and no chance he loses this fight. Magny is way better on the feet, his cardio is superior, he will take White down at will. The only way Craig wins this is by catching Magny with a triangle. Pick- Neil Magny.
