How I see Magomed Ankalaev doing in the UFC:
Ankalaev is a well-rounded guy who could be a future top 10 Light Heavyweight in the UFC. While being well-rounded, Ankalaev is best getting inside in the clinch, shooting for takedowns and unleashing his fight-ending ground-and-pound. Ankalaev is good on the feet as his muay-thai is dangerous with knees. He mixes his takedowns from that position as well. Ankalaev has solid footwork moving in and out very well. He showcases some explosiveness from the outside as well where he ended a previous fight with a flying knee. Watching all the footage on Ankalaev, it’s hard to find weaknesses at the moment. However, that might change when he matches up in the higher ranks. Overall, could fare very well in the UFC.
